Everyone in my life seems to be getting lost in social media rabbit holes, whether it’s doomscrolling or getting caught up in the never ending media news cycle, or seeing your social media friends engaging in routines that you haven’t been able to get to yet, here are 40 things that you can do instead of scrolling on your phone (in no particular order):

 

  1. Organize your bookshelf
  2. Do the dishes
  3. Attempt to read a book
  4. Go for a walk in your neighborhood
  5. Call a friend
  6. Change your bedsheets
  7. Water your plants
  8. Meditate
  9. Listen to music
  10. Gaze out the window
  11. Take up an online class
