The legacy of Aaliyah lives on. It has been almost two decades since the Grammy-nominated singer tragically died in a plane crash and her fans are still yearning for her music. And most of them aren’t even asking for unreleased gems. Instead, followers of the beloved singer want access to the old albums like One In A Million and Aaliyah, which helped establish Aaliyah as an icon in music and fashion.

Due to restrictions from her label Blackground Records, much of her body of work can’t be found on streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Music. In an Instagram post, the singer’s estate wrote, “Our inability to share Aaliyah’s music and artistry with the world has been as difficult for us as it has been for all of you.” While we wait for her estate to unveil new “unique and exciting projects,” let’s reminisce with a few of the singer’s old hits.
