To celebrate Black History Month, Apple released a limited-edition Black Unity Collection on February 1.
Included is the Apple Watch Series 6, the Black Unity Sport Band, and a Unity watch face, designed by Black creatives and allies to honor the fight for racial equity. In addition to the new collection, Apple will be donating to the Black Lives Matter Support Fund via the Tides Foundation, European Network Against Racism, International Institute on Race, Equality and Human Rights, Leadership Conference Education Fund, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., and and Souls Grown Deep.
Honoring the Pan-African flag, you’ll see reds, blacks, and greens all over the product to symbolize unity and liberation. The products are available only in the month of February at Apple and Target, with the watch at $399, the unity watch face at $499 and the unity sport band at $49.
