But the truth remains that there will never be a general consensus on the matter: some people just absolutely hate crocs and others have embraced the chunky silhouette.
In 2019, the brand launched a “Come as You Are” campaign, which, as you can assume, champions individuality and puts it at the forefront along with comfort. It helped that celebrities like Justin Bieber and Shia LaBeouf have endorsed the trend. And yes, the shoes are eccentric, so wearing them definitely signals that you’re not just a regular fashion lad. We can all definitely agree on that.
Now it’s been 17 years since the brand has been on the market, and maybe the years of hatred can be subdued in 2020.
