Big Sean and Jhené Aiko just released a new music video for their joint song, “Body Language.” We watch the couple’s sweet romance play out on the screen while giving back to a couple of iconic Black films – scenes from Poetic Justice, Love Jones, Waiting to Exhale, and Best Man.

The scene where Aiko lights a flame to the car and walks away is so spot on to Waiting to Exhale and the costume designer nailed the hat and baggy jeans look, in reference to Janet Jackson’s look from Poetic Justice. We’ve been fans of the couple for some time now and love to see Black love displayed for all to see. The video is a great tribute and a beautiful dose of nostalgia.
