I hope I’m not alone in saying that I am deeply disturbed by the recent news on Breonna Taylor’s murder case. On September 23, it was announced that no murder charges would be placed on Officer Brett Hankinson, who killed Breonna Taylor in her own home. In fact, the judge ruled the shooting as “justified in their use of force.”

I am shocked. Disappointed. Disgusted. At a loss of words to be honest. I cannot imagine how her family and friends are feeling. As someone who has lost a family member, the pain is indescribable and it feels as if no one can ease it.

Money is certainly not everything, but in these disturbing times, it can help. Please donate if you are in a position too. Below are funds for some of the families who’ve lost loved ones due to police brutality.
