The end of summer means two things: no more heat waves that force you to be inside huddled with your AC, and fire releases in the fashion industry in anticipation for the fall. Here are three new releases this week that have us completely head over heels anxiously awaiting to get our hands on them.

 

 

Tyler, the Creator’s GOLF WANG Fall 2020 brings back vibrant colors and patterns

 

Tyler, the Creator’s GOLF WANG’s back for Fall 2020 with a wild array of apparel and accessories. We are not surprised that this collection features GOLF’s trademark heavy color blocking and bold graphics, with a wash of a pastel palette. After all, it is to be expected, if you know anything about the brand (remember the polka-dot heavy collab with Levi’s?) 

 

This collection provides everything you need to transition from the warm weather to layering for chillier days. The patterned short sleeve shirts, along with an array of colorful knitwear provide an eclectic choice range that would please everyone (or, most people, at least). Some button-ups with patterns and graphics caught our attention, and are definitely some of the highlights of the collection. We also won’t forget to mention the wool Letterman jackets that are emblazoned with GOLF patches.

Futura x COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT Fall/Winter 2020 Collection 

 

Rei Kawakubo‘s COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT has decided to collaborate  with graffiti artist Futura to create a line of striking shirts. The eccentric duo have released this collaborative capsule made up of 12 stunning pieces covered in the artist’s bright graffiti signature motif.

Though this collection saw the light of day first back in January during Paris Fashion Week, it has only recently been released for public consumption.

 

The Futura x CDG SHIRT collab offers two jackets, two long-sleeve shirts, four T-shirts, and four bags. Each piece is adorned and ornamented in the colorful graffiti that is, by now, synonymous with Futura’s aesthetic. The collection features three prints all throughout and have all been reworked by the genius of Kawakubo through applying prints and cutouts, giving each piece a collage-like feel.

 

The Futura x COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT FW20 collection is currently being sold at Dover Street Market stores and on its website.

 

 

Palace Skateboards x adidas Originals “SunPal” Summer 2020 Capsule

 

After teasing the capsule just last week, Palace has (finally!) revealed its adidas Originals collaboration in full. SunPal, the new collection, focuses mainly on summer pieces. It is conceived as a tribute to “the Balearic summer,” and features an array of summer essentials including sunglasses, towels, and a beach poncho! 

 

Though this is coming at a later point in the summer, we believe that it’s never too late to look fashionable and end the summer season with a bang. Parts of the collection will be released at a later date and that includes a set of water shoes. They are rumored to arrive in orange and red colorways used similarly in the collaborative football-style jersey.

 

The collaboration was released on the Palace stores and its web store on August 14. The water shoes will be released separately at a different date.
