Wake me up when September ends, just kidding. This month is filled with back-to-school drops that never happened because of COVID-19. But that doesn’t mean you can’t save it for next year. Here are three new releases this week that have us completely head over heels anxiously awaiting to get our hands on them.
Palace Skateboards Fall 2020 5th Drop
Palace have been releasing parts of their incredible Fall 2020 collection for the past four weeks and this week comes with the brand’s latest drop. This week, the British streetwear label is dropping their Looney Tunes capsule, the exciting albeit unexpected collaboration with Warner Bros’ animated comic series. This release features jeans and caps embroidered with classic icons such as Sylvester the Cat and Tweety bird, as well as chambray T-shirts. This all screams retro ‘90s and honestly we’re thrilled about it. This fifth release also serves us the Cell Net Jacket, a lightweight shell option, the Palace Champione Hoodie as well as the Palazzo Crewneck Sweater among others.
Pieces are set to drop on September 4, at 11am EDT with the Japan/China Release on September 5, 11am JST/CST on Palace’s online shop.
Anti Social Social Club and BAPE’s Third Collaboration
Anti Social Social Club and BAPE are back with a third collaborative collection celebrating both Tokyo and Los Angeles. Following their April 2018 Los Angeles-exclusive capsule release as well as May 2017’s NY exclusive drop, the third collab is rich with Anti Social Social Club’s iconic typographical graphics sidelined with BAPE’s CAMO pattern, making this release rife with an eclectic and exhilarating mix of camouflaged patterns.
This release brings us three different types of camo: the first, a cotton candy pink mixture with blue hues, the second, classic woodlandy mix of tans, and the third, full with earthy browns and greens. The three palettes are spread all throughout the collaborative collection’s tees and hooded sweatshirts.
The Anti Social Social Club x BAPE Fall 2020 collection is set to be released on September 4 at 11am ET via the Anti Social Social Club webstore in the US. It will also be released in Japan on September 5 on the BAPE webstore.
Stussy for Fall 2020
Nuanced palettes are definitely in for this fall, and we can see it here in Stussy’s Fall 2020 collection. This new release will have a sense of refinement washed over its classic staples, but this time, it comes with many more textures and layers.
Dominated by earth tones and the soothing effect of light washes, this collection brings us everything from chore coats, fleece zip-ups, to flannels, graphic tees and corduroy button-down shirts. This is so exciting on so many levels. While these are big highlights, the collection also includes a sweater with graphics of the label’s signature eight-ball motif. The patchwork on the jackets, as well as the checkered hoodies all come together to make this whole collection hard to pick and choose from!
The Fall 2020 collection will be available on the Stussy’s website on September 4 at 1pm EDT.
