Summer of 2021 is basically here and with it, Google will open its first physical store. The location will be (not surprising to anyone) in New York City’s Chelsea district.
The store will be a natural extension of the company’s long-standing commitment to the Chelsea area. The official opening date of the physical store is currently unknown, but those interested can visit the retailer by summer 2021. The new Google Store will feature a number of interactive touchpoints for customers to try out the company’s products and services.
Customers will be able to browse and purchase a wide range of Google hardware, including the Pixel phones, Pixelbooks, Nest products, and even Fitbit devices. Customers will also be able to shop online and pick up in-store, according to Google. The company wants visitors to get the most out of their devices, so it ensures that they will have immediate access to the experts on hand.
Those interested in learning more about the devices firsthand, whether they are curious about the new Nest display or are a longtime Pixel user, will have the opportunity to do so. Experts are also available to lead users through one-on-one how-to workshops, troubleshoot problems, repair cracked screens, and assist with installations.
