Need a side Hustle? Cut Hair for the homies

Hair grows back after all.

One of the few remaining wonders of the internet is the fact that you can learn just about anything at home. You can learn how to code, how to speak a new language, and even how to do the hardest of dance routines. Something that’s been popular among people, especially since the beginning of the quarantine, is learning how to cut hair.

While more salons and barbershops are opening up and vaccines are becoming more readily available to the general public, many people are still hesitant to occupy enclosed public spaces and would prefer to have these services in the comfort and safety of their own homes. If you have access to the internet, the means to purchase a basic grooming set (shears, comb, clippers, etc.), and friends who can’t turn down a good deal, why not make this an opportunity for extra income on the side? If this pandemic has taught us anything it’s that side hustles are necessary to keep many of us afloat.

While I don’t recommend coloring your friends’ hair at home, a simple haircut at home is relatively risk-free. If anything goes wrong, they can grow it out a little bit and get it fixed just in time for summer. You get to practice for your soon-to-be small business and they… were a good friend supporting your dreams.
