The right haircut can do all the best things. It makes us more confident, frames our natural features, and helps prevent split ends. Did you know all this could be enhanced if you part your hair properly?

If you’ve been parting your hair out of chance or habit, you may want to figure out your natural part once and for all. Your hair will stay in place and look more styled than ever if you follow the below steps.

Step 1: Wash and towel dry your hair.

Step 2: Starting at the back, run your fingers through your hair.

If your hair naturally falls to the right – your natural part is on the left side of your head, meaning comb hair to the right. If your hair naturally falls to the left, your natural part is on the right – comb hair to the left.

Another way is to follow your cowlick. The cowlick is that annoying spiral lock of hair that resists becoming combed flat. Everyone has one, it’s usually in the center of your hair. So grab a mirror and see if yours grows clockwise or counterclockwise. If you see a clockwise-growing cowlick, your hair naturally wants to go to the right. So part on the left side and comb to the right. It’s the exact opposite if it grows counterclockwise, meaning part hair on the right and comb to the left.

Following these simple steps will ensure good hair days, everyday.
