Hip-hop’s first billionaire has sold millions of records, won more Grammys than any other hip-hop artist and has an incredibly successful business career outside of the booth that adds to his legacy.

Hov has risen from the hardships of New York City’s notorious Marcy Housing projects to become one of the most influential and successful figures in pop culture, and yet still manages to flex his lyrical skills every chance he gets. Jay-Z’s recent appearances on tracks featuring Nas, Drake, Kanye West, DMX, Conway The Machine and others show that the 51-year-old artist still got it.
