With the holidays right around the corner, Jordan Brand has unveiled the sneakers they’ll be bringing to market for Spring/Summer 2021. The lineup includes three exclusive women’s colorways as well as retros of old favorites and some re-imagined colorways on familiar models.
We’ll start with the selection made for the ladies. The first-ever female specific model of the Air Jordan 9 will be introduced next year. It’ll focus on the global impact MJ and basketball made with various graphics and languages and a heel loop that reads “Change the World.” The extremely popular Air Jordan 1 Hi will feature a black and crinkled silver version while the Air Jordan 4 takes cues from the “Bred” iteration and adds space exploration influence and a Starfish Orange metallic mesh to remix the old classic.
On the men’s side, University Blue will adorn the Air Jordan 1 Hi and Air Jordan 4 for some UNC-inspired looks. The Air Jordan 1 will also get a highlighter-esque version with foldable eyelet-flaps. The “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 3 returns for the first time since 2007 and the Air Jordan 5 will see the return of the “Stealth” colorway for the first time since 2006. A reconfigured version of the classic Air Jordan 5 “Metallic Silver” will also launch with suedes and textiles and a blacked out “23” on the lateral heel. Finally, two colorway sneakers finish off the lineup – with a University Gold AJ9 and Starfish Orange AJ13.
We’ll keep you updated on all these releases once the calendar turns to 2021. In the meantime, check out our weekly Hot Cakes column for the latest drops.
