It’s crazy to think that Kith and Coca-Cola are entering their fifth season of collaboration – it feels like yesterday that Ronnie Fieg and company launched the inaugural collaborative collection in The Hamptons.
While some pieces are too logo heavy for me, I’ve always appreciated the nostalgia that Ronnie has been able to bring to each season. Season 5 is no different with its fair share of vintage tees but also a wide array of collaborations within the collaboration including pieces with Mitchell & Ness, Golden Bear, Pendleton and of course Converse. However, I’m always a sucker for the accessories in big capsule collections like these, and Fieg doesn’t disappoint.
While towels and a toy truck are dope, the standout must-have Fire Finds piece for this week is undoubtedly the Coir Door Mat. Coir, which is a cellulose fiber most commonly found in door mats, is sourced from coconuts and offers that authentic and natural summertime beach vibe. On this collaborative piece from Kith and Coca-Cola, screen printed dual branding in Coke’s classic red adds the perfect contrast to that brownish coir color.
Retailing for $65, this Kith x Coca-Cola Coir Door Mat is the perfect piece to welcome summer, especially if you’re quarantining at home and looking to bring that much needed relaxing vibe into your daily space. You can pick it up from Kith’s website on August 15 along with the rest of the Season 5 pieces. While you wait, peep the full Season 5 catalog and lookbook.
