Imagine if we tell you that two giant brands, whose legacy dates back to generations, have collaborated on a special bike. You’d probably be thrilled. Louis Vuitton and Maison TAMBOITE, both unrivaled Parisian luxury companies, have joined forces for a very special project: the LV Bike.
This new bike is actually a rework of Maison TAMBOITE’s classic model — one that has served many times as a special Louis Vuitton house design element. The brand’s understanding and expertise of leather craftsmanship and woodwork, has been brought into the design and finishing of the hand-made bicycle. This wonderful collaboration brings us seats and frames that are wrapped in LV’s iconic monogrammed leather. The metal framework is made of chromed and enameled steel, making it both outstanding and durable. Both material have been stretched and lightened to create a stronger bike, one that is sure to provide a smooth ride.
Specific design elements such as a Monogram flower chain, along with an LV-shaped frame, have been added to make this bike even more unique. And if that’s not enough, wood has also been used on the mudguards. This special bike comes with a built-in tracker, shock absorbing seats, and discrete LED lights. I mean, we can’t really say more. Maybe you can add this bike to your Christmas list.
The LV Bike is available exclusively at Louis Vuitton stores worldwide on a made-to-order basis now.
