Though you may still be discovering your grooming routine, and deciding which products work best for you, there are some that should be staples and should permanently live in your medicine cabinet. These are not products that are meant to be seasonal, or just be used for specific treatments, but rather, these should be always available at hand.

For some, a hydrating scrum or a specific moisturizer is a crucial element of the medicine cabinet, but for others, something as simple as a Q-tip or over-the-counter ointment is what is most visited.

Here are some products that you should have in your medicine cabinet at all times, no matter your grooming routine:

Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide is perfect for scarred skin as it immediately repairs and cleanses it. If you are prone to nail biting, then you should absolutely have a bottle or two at home.

Get it from Target for $1.19

Globe Triple Antibiotic Ointment

This ointment quite literally heals everything. Burns, pimples, any skin problems? Dab some of this ointment and your problems will be instantly gone.

Get it from Amazon for $3.99

Muji Cut Cotton

Most grooming products require cotton pads, and these are the best in the market. Made from special materials that won’t irritate the skin, you will be thankful to have these in your cabinet.

Cortizone 10 Creme With Aloe

Pond’s Cold Cream Cleanser

This cleanser is great for a nighttime grooming routine. It clears any debris left on the skin like dust and other particles, and helps in the fast reconstruction of skin cells.

Now Solutions Almond Oil

Almond oil is great for rejuvenating hair. It’s incredibly lightweight, smells very subtly, and seals all the hydration and moisture of your hair quite nicely. This is an underrated staple.

Q-tips Cotton Swabs

These are the OG Q-tips, as in, the brand Q-tips and not just any old cotton swabs. These are perfect for cleaning your ears but also for small touch-ups and spot treatments.
