It’s been a long time coming, but Coming 2 America has finally arrived. The sequel to Coming to America returns more than 30 years after original cast members Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, Shari Headley, John Amos and Louie Anderson first came together to create the classic comedy. The long-awaited Coming 2 America — which is an Amazon Prime Video, as a result of COVID-19 shutting down movie theaters across the country — begins where the OG film ended off, in the land of Zamunda. Just like its predecessor, the Coming to America sequel, which features the original cast as well as Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Rotimi, Teyana Taylor and Eddie Murphy’s daughter Bella Murphy, is also receiving rave reviews. Coming 2 America isn’t the only long-awaited sequel finally coming to streaming services and theaters in the near future. See which long-awaited sequels, reboots and remakes are also on the way.
