Barbershop for the Stars

East Point, Georgia is home to one of hip hop’s greatest rap groups: Outkast. It is here, nestled inside an unassuming industrial building, where you will find The Musa Lair–one of the top barbershops in Atlanta. Tucked away behind big brown doors with no signs of entry to be found, it’s easy to get lost. But with one step into The Musa Lair, it’s all positive energy. You’re instantly greeted by all the barbers doing their thing. Inside, the decor gives you the sense that a lot of thought has gone into creating this space, with a design touch by one of the industry’s best. 

The shop operates by appointment only, owned and operated by the man himself, barber to the stars, Marcus Harvey. On any given day you can find Marcus cutting one of his high profile client’s hair, and, even better, taking the time to drop knowledge with other seasoned barbers and up and comers. All of this gives us the great pleasure to select The Musa Lair as the Ultra Barbershop of the Month.
