Now more than ever it’s important to wind down. The pandemic, news circuit, work from home and family situations, can have us all in a frenzy if we don’t find ways to destress. One pastime we love to partake in is Netflix.

After scouring all our favorite TV shows, movies, and Netflix Originals, it’s become hard to have a renewed appetite for features on the site. Which is why we are elated with Netflix’s new announcement of “Shuffle Play,” set to release in the first half of this year. In beta testing since last summer, the function that pulls previously watched titles, favorite genres and content saved under “My List,” will now become a permanent offering of the brand. The mega platform of 200 million subscribers, created “Shuffle Play” for the users who login but have no idea what they want to watch.

For now they are calling it “Shuffle Play” but will release it’s full name once it launches. “We’re going to come up with something better than that, so stand by for this. You’ll see it when it rolls out,” CPO Greg Peters said.
