As a journalist who sources the majority of imagery for my articles, I find that stock photography has a massive diversity problem. Too often I’ll spend long amounts of time searching for images with Black people or imagery detailing the Black experience. Speaking to other journalists, they find the same issue for all marginalized groups. Fed up and frustrated with the lack of representation in stock photography, I sought out stock marketplaces that showcase imagery of all communities: some focus on binary and non-binary, women, abilities and Black people. If you are a content creator, please enjoy the below diverse stock websites.
