Porsche Design has not ventured into the laptop or computer market in over three years, when previously they have released Porsche Design Book One in 2017. Though the reviews on that one were not incredible, this new collaboration with Acer is a perfect combination of performance and aesthetics.

After a three-year hiatus, Porsche Design and Acer teamed up to release the Acer Book RS i7. This design stuck to the core values of both companies and was designed with the minimalist sensibilities of the brand in mind. The new device is constructed with a silver body that is as sleek as it is smooth. There is carbon detailing on the back surface and it comes with its own custom designed mouse. The whole package includes a black leather sleeve and an integrated mouse pad—meant for travelers who find themselves always on the go.

Powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, the laptop’s performance should be quite good. Though its price tag exceeds that of a MacBook, priced at $2,450 USD, this device carries an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics card which makes it actually great for gaming and graphic work. The 14-inch touchscreen comes protected with a glass cover offering durability and functionality.
