Be honest, all the food you stocked up on for quarantine life is nearly – if not completely – gone. We are eating just to eat at this point. Instead of reaching for potato chips, let’s challenge ourselves to a self care practice. Not only will it keep those extra pounds of us, but it will relax us during this confusing time.
Below we’ve listed out all the self care practices we’ve been loving.
Take a bath
What better way to ease our anxiety than a nice soak. If you’re into CBD, there are loads of brands selling oils and bath bombs to soothe your achy joints and overwhelming thoughts.
Use a face mask
Our skin thrives on hydration and moisturization. Just because you’re stuck inside doesn’t mean your face has to suffer as well. Face masks are going for as low as $1 on Amazon.

Stretch
Give your hands and wrists a break from typing. There are multiple stretch routines on Pinterest and Instagram showing stretching routines to keep your body limber.
Meditate
It doesn’t matter what time of the day you chose to mediate, meditating will help center yourself. If you’re new to this type of zen, YouTube offers lots of free options.
Unplug occasionally
With slack, google hangouts, and other internal messaging — your company may require you to be online the duration of your work day. So take this one with a grain of salt. Unplugging for five or ten minutes could be just the trick to power on.
Separation
Working from home can be a joy. Working from home with roommates? Not so much. In small apartments, it’s vital to create your own space. If your roommates are starting to cramp your style, choose a different room in the house. Even if it’s just an hour, it could help.
