The hot humid air of summer is in full swing, along with flash rains. It’s hard to find a pair of sneakers that can make the transition but this week’s offerings will attempt to do just that. Let’s jump right into it.

Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Neutral Grey”

Following the release of the Air Jordan 1 High “Neutral Grey” back in February, it’s OG low-top counterpart is now making its grand entrance. While I definitely like the highs better, this cut version is an instant summer classic and I can see it on feet for all occasions and on all sorts of people – from those who don’t know to resellers with full size runs. What makes it even better is Jordan Brand has crafted both men’s and women’s versions as well as a big kids pair. Hit up SNKRS app and select retailers to cop these staples.

Release Date: June 24, 2021
Retail: $130 (Adult), $100 (Big Kids)
Resell pre-release: $170 – $300

Nike Dunk Low “University Blue”

The Swoosh is continuing to push out more and more Dunks inspired by collegiate color schemes. They don’t have to say it for this pair, which is clearly a homage to UNC and the classic Carolina Tar Heels blue. The Dunk Low is a staple in the summertime alongside the Air Jordan 1 and Air Force 1. If you want to add some pop to your typical all-whites, these are a great option via SNKRS app and select retailers like Feature.

Release Date: June 24, 2021
Retail: $100 (Adult), $85 (Big Kids), $65 (Little Kids), $50 (Toddler)
Resell pre-release: $250 – $370

Nike LeBron 8 V/2 Low “Treasure Blue” aka “Sprite”

The LeBron 8, whether in its high or low variation, is my favorite basketball shoe – it’s a literal tank. Plus it had the best colorways ever. Following the “Miami Nights” retro, the beloved “Sprite” version of the Low will now return as well. The Flywire technology and instantly recognizable colorway of this pair fit right in during Bron’s South Beach tenure. A lot of people also forget this is an Air Max sneaker, with full-length Air units. A must-have for your return to park courts this summer. Hit up SNKRS app for the draw.

Release Date: June 25, 2021
Retail: $180
Resell pre-release: $130 – $250

Extra Butter x adidas Ultraboost “Shooter McGavin”

Extra Butter pays homage this week to one of the greatest Adam Sandler movies of all-time, Happy Gilmore, with an entire collection. The story’s villain, Happy’s nemesis Shooter McGavin, is the typical golf dbag we all hate and while he gets defeated in the movie, he finally gets a W on the adidas Ultraboost. The silhouette celebrates the antagonist and the movie’s 25th anniversary with his iconic “Shooter” hand gesture on top of plush suede and gold-fleck Primeknit. Check out the entire Happy Gilmore collection from Extra Butter and head over to extrabutterny.com and stores to cop. See you on the green!

Release Date: June 25, 2021
Retail: N/A
Resell pre-release: $335 – $800

Salehe Bembury x New Balance ML2002RJ “Water Be The Guide”

Following up on his inaugural New Balance collaboration, “Peace Be The Journey,” Salehe Bembury is back with a second 2002R model – “Water Be The Guide.” Inspired by H2O, specifically Havasu Falls out in Arizona, the material selection includes open mesh with hairy teal suede overlays and earthy tones on the leather accents. These go super hard and if you’re planning on going back into nature this year, these are the move. You can cop via newbalance.com or Bembury’s website, beaspunge.com.

Release Date: June 25, 2021
Retail: $150
Resell pre-release: $400 – $2,000 (Big sizes)

NERF x Reebok Omni Pump Zone II “Light Jammer”

Reebok goes hard for the old school NERF toys this week with a special high-top collaboration. The graphic sockliner and splatter paint on the vamp in green plays perfectly off the orange of the upper and overlays. If you want to relive your childhood, these are a must cop this weekend. Oh, did we mention the upper and outsole glows? Yea. Hit up retailers like Extra Butter to cop these.

Release Date: June 25, 2021
Retail: $160
Resell pre-release: $175 – $300
