Nike’s SNKRS app has decided to go with the draw system for nearly every release now – in an attempt to fight bots. Whether or not that system works is another issue entirely, and great content for a separate piece. This week’s sneakers will definitely send fans into a frenzy. We hope you have the raffle system for your local boutique on lock by now because you’ll need it this week. Let’s jump right into it.

Air Jordan 4 “University Blue”

Sneakerheads don’t need an explanation for this colorway – the iconic UNC hues of MJ’s alma mater. While the actual player PE’s had argyle, the school’s logo on the tongue, and blue cement, this one will still be highly sought after by all sneakerheads. The classic mesh netting on the tongue and side panels complemented with the grey cement print and woven 23 jersey tag on the tongue make these a great rock or flip. SNKRS app will probably let you down but it won’t stop us from trying anyways.

Release Date: April 28, 2021 (Today)
Retail: $200 (Adult), $150 (Big Kids), $85 (Little Kids), $65 (Toddler)
Resell pre-release: $360 – $525

sacai x Nike VaporWaffle “Sesame/Blue Void” & “Dark Iris”

After an initial launch that saw classic black/white and royal fuchsia versions back in November of last year, followed by a yellow/green combination in December, the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle returns in two bright summer variants. Comfortable doesn’t even do this sneaker justice. I have a big size 11 flat foot and when I tried these on and walked around, I never felt more relaxed. Whether you want to rock or flip, these will be great for both. SNKRS app will have both the Sesame/Blue Void pair and Dark Iris pair available at the same time. END. is currently raffling the Sesame and Dark Iris pairs as well.

Release Date: April 29, 2021
Retail: $180
Resell pre-release: $510 – $1,000 (Sesame), $470 – $950 (Dark Iris)

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 “British Khaki/Bright Crimson”

La Flame is helping the Air Jordan 6 silhouette celebrate its 30th anniversary in style with another collaborative pair. Building on their “Medium Olive” project from 2019, the latest colorway not only adds even more translucent accents at the heel tab, tongue, lace lock and outsole, but incorporates finer suede as well as an additional zippered stash pocket on the medial side of the upper. The rapper is consistently pushing the sneaker game with his collaborations so expect these to flip fairly well. Enter the END. raffle, Feature raffle and other retailer raffles now.

Release Date: April 30, 2021
Retail: $250
Resell pre-release: $785 – $2,000

Overkill x adidas ZX 8500

Berlin’s Overkill has been immersed in graffiti and sneaker culture ever since it first opened its doors back in 2003 – they started off as a graffiti magazine back in 1992. To celebrate the similarities of both worlds, they’ve taken the adidas ZX 8500 as their canvas for expression. Part of adidas’ A-ZX series, the sneaker features a leather upper and a multitude of colors to express an exploding spray paint can. The unique pair also comes with a detachable covering for those who actually plan to tag in these. These are definitely for the real ones and you can grab them via adidas’ Confirmed app as well as raffles from retailers like Extra Butter.

Release Date: April 30, 2021
Retail: $140
Resell pre-release: $170 – $400

Vivienne Westwood x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 27 DE “Lichen Green/Ox Brown”

Vivienne Westwood and ASICS have been collaborating for a couple of years now and this week’s release is another one that you won’t want to miss. The duo have never been shy when it comes to unique color blocking and this GEL-KAYANO 27 DE is the perfect example of that. A mixture of browns, orange, blue, white and pre-distressed yellow perfectly complement the equally eclectic ripstop nylon, rubber and thick wired lacing. If you want to stand out, this is the sneaker to do it in. Head over to retailers like Feature to enter the raffle.

Release Date: May 1, 2021
Retail: $240
Resell pre-release: N/A

Air Jordan 13 “Red Flint”

The “Flint” colorway of the AJ13 is recognizable anywhere for its blue and grey combination. 23 years later, the silhouette will don a colorway filled with Gym Red that even MJ would approve of on and off the court. The red replaces the sectional panels of the upper where blue would usually be and offers fans a more Bulls-inspired piece of footwear. This one is already an instant classic in my book and will be stocked in my own closet for later wear. What will you do with these? Hit up SNKRS app to cop first and then decide later.

Release Date: May 1, 2021
Retail: $190
Resell pre-release: $320 – $750

Air Jordan 1 “Rust Shadow”

The Air Jordan 1 is one of those rare pieces of footwear that ages gracefully and looks just as good beat up as it does straight out of the box. Taking that to the extreme is the new “Rust Shadow” variation. The rear paneling looks like worn out “Shadow” 1’s while the rustic Swoosh, toe box and side panels give off the effect of dark polished furniture. With the pre-distressed looks in high demand these days, flipping these is the way to go if they aren’t in your taste range. SNKRS app might hand you that L before you get to that step though.

Release Date: May 4, 2021
Retail: $170
Resell pre-release: $200 – $280
