May is upon us and if you celebrate Star Wars Day, we hope you have some sick footwear to match. This week’s sneaker releases will cover a lot of bases and have a full spring and summer rotation for you if you hit on everything. Let’s jump right into it.

Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650

Following up on his Made by Teddy series, ALD’s Teddy Santis is continuing to bring basketball heat off the court with the high-top 650 silhouette. Last year we saw New Balance get an injection of new fans and consumers from the 550 model, specifically the ALD collaboration. Now, the 650 will hope to do the same in grey, blue, red and dark green. Hit up New Balance’s website to cop.

Release Date: May 5, 2022
Retail: $165
Resell pre-release: $220 – $390 (Grey), $230 – $400 (Blue), $295 – $545 (Red), $240 – $450 (Dark green)

Nike Dunk Low “Championship Court Purple”

If you’re a fan of purple, this pair of Dunk Lows are for you. The blueprint for a great Dunk Low model hasn’t changed — two tone with a solid color overlay and white underneath. These will sell out and will be an easy flip just like every other pair. Hit up SNKRS app to cop.

Release Date: May 5, 2022
Retail: $100
Resell pre-release: $180 – $255

Nike Air Max 1 “Treeline”

If there was ever a perfect “spring” colorway, this would be it. Encapsulating the beautiful outdoors like its nickname, the combination of suede, canvas and mesh done in earthy tones, pink and moss green achieve exactly what they set out to do. You’ll want to grab a pair via SNKRS app for your next hike.

Release Date: May 7, 2022
Retail: $150
Resell pre-release: $200 – $375

adidas YEEZY 450 “Sulfur”

Honestly, I am not a fan of this piss yellow colorway or the idea of the smell of sulfur. The 450 model is also not a great sneaker to flip so there’s not much upside to grabbing this pair unless you want to rock it and figure that a lot of people are in the same boat as me so maybe, just maybe, you’ll have a better chance to score off adidas CONFIRMED app or yeezysupply.com.

Release Date: May 7, 2022
Retail: $200
Resell pre-release: $250 – $330

Nike Dunk Low “Sequoia & Eucalyptus aka Avocado”

This is a really fun one from Nike. Taking on the exterior texture of the fruit, the Dunk Low is crafted from black leather, which tears away to reveal green underneath. Green suede can be seen on the heel and an avocado sticker is stamped into the mudguard along with a nutrition label on the tongue. Just great execution on these. Retailers like END. are currently running raffles.
