It’s almost Memorial Day weekend, which for most of us in the United States signals the official start of summer and BBQ season. To get your footwear game right for your gathering after a year long of quarantine and a cookout, all the brands are pulling out heat this week. Our release radar has some of the best kicks to go after this week. Let’s jump right into it.
Air Jordan 1 Low SE “Spades”
The Air Jordan 1 Low got a lot of love for this “Spades” variation. The king and queen of the deck get their own gold letter embroidery on the forefoot foxing while a paisley patterned engraving is done in red along the black paneling and white over panels add contrast. A gold Swoosh and gold Jumpman inside the spade logo on the tongue round out the details along with a red wings logo on the heel. These are going to be extremely hard to acquire so hit up retailers like Feature and Sneaker Politics ASAP to get in on the raffles.
Release Date: May 27, 2021
Resell pre-release: $180 – $490 (larger sizes)
Nike Dunk High “Court Purple”
Who knows if the Lakers will make it out of the first round this year, but these LA colorway Dunk Highs are still fire even if they don’t. The Dunk High has a legacy that began on the hardwood so it’s only right that Nike honors that. You get the feel of being off the court with the bold embroidery with yellow highlight stitching. These were delayed a bit so hit up SNKRS app and stores like Feature for raffles now.
Release Date: May 28, 2021
Resell pre-release: $160 – $640 (small sizes)
Casablanca x New Balance 327 & 237 “Off-White/Aspen”
Casablanca and New Balance strike again following their March release of a pink/white/green 327 and 237. This time around, the same interlinking tile-like pattern on the paneling is done with a deeper shade of green as well as red. Cream highlights once again accentuate the sneakers’ unique shapes and gives off the luxury Mediterranean vibes all of us need this summer. Hit up newbalance.com for both the 327 and 237 or retailers like Feature to enter the 327 raffle and 237 raffle respectively.
