Now that spring is upon us, sneaker releases have really upped their game. Whether you want to dress up or dress down, this week’s drops will most definitely cover ever fashionista’s tastes. From fresh Doernbecher Nike sneakers to Teddy Santis’ first non-ALD New Balance Made in the USA collection, there’s a ton to cop. Let’s jump right into it.

New Balance Made in USA 990 Made by Teddy collection

A little over a year after naming Teddy Santis creative director of New Balance Made in USA category, the Aimé Leon Dore founder is ready to drop his first collection, and sh*t, it’s fire. Selecting the 990V1, 990V2 and 990V3 silhouettes, Santis has reworked each with inspiration taken from the original Grey 996. New Balance has never strayed away from their classic Grey and each pair features hairy suede and mesh. You can grab the 990V1, 990V2, 990V3 from select retailers like Extra Butter and Feature.

Release Date: April 28, 2022
Retail: $190 (990V1), $195 (990V2), $200 (990V3)
Resell pre-release: $250 – $280 (990V1), $250 – $1,000 (990V2), $300 – $420 (990V3)

Feature x Padmore & Barnes P204/P404 collection

Boutique Feature has joined forces with Irish brand Padmore & Barnes for some luxury suede boots. Similar to Clarks Wallabees, these velour suede boots are covered with pony hair overlays and held together by double hand-stitched seams. A leather insole, corded laces and a crepe outsole screen luxury. Both the P204 and P404 model are offered in three colorways. Hit up Feature’s release page to enter the raffle for these exclusives.

Release Date: April 29, 2022
Retail: $240 (P204), $250 (P404)
Resell pre-release: N/A

Air Jordan 13 “Navy”

The AJ13 looks good with any color scheme, that’s my hot take and I will defend it forever. The mesh upper with dimples gets a navy makeover this time around that really contrasts the black nubuck and tumbled leather. With white hits on the animal-like outsole, this pair will never go out of style. Hit up SNKRS app and select retailers like Feature to get sizes for the entire family.

Release Date: April 29, 2022
Retail: $200 (Adults), $150 (Big Kids), $90 (Little Kids), $70 (Toddler)
Resell pre-release: $210 – $275

Nike 2022 Doernbecher Freestyle XVII collection

Nike has unveiled the 2022 Doernbecher Freestyle collection designed by 7 young patients from OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Each child’s design reflects on their own journey and struggles with various health and life-threatening conditions. Each story is uniquely theirs and the charity-focused initiative done in collaboration with Nike has given them a canvas to express their creativity.

This year, the chosen silhouettes are the Nike Dunk Low (designed by Zoe Taaffe), NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4 (designed by Maylee Phelps), Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski (designed by Catalina Vazquez), Nike Air Force 1 Fontanka (designed by Cidni O’Brien), Nike Blazer Mid ’77 (designed by Ayman Wamala), Air Jordan 5 Low (designed by Michael “Spitfire” Wilson), and LeBron 19 (designed by Sam David Phelps).

You can read about each design process on the Nike SNKRS app pages and purchase your favorite pair on the app as well.

Retail: $200 (LeBron 19, Air Jordan 5 Low), $150 (NikeCourt Zoom Vapor Cage 4), $120 (Air Force 1), $100 (Blazer, Dunk Low), $85 (Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski)

atmos x ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Tokyo Subway” & “NYC Subway”

If you love Tokyo and NYC the way I do, this atmos collaboration is the perfect pair for you. To celebrate the “heart” of both cities — the subway system — “atmos adopted the official map data provided by Tokyo Cart Graphic, which is based in Ogikubo, Tokyo” and used an all-over print of the maps to lay on top premium leather. Small details are everywhere on this sneaker so you’ll have a fun time staring at these with friends. Hit up select retailers like Extra Butter to purchase both the “Tokyo Subway” and “NYC Subway” pairs.

Release Date: April 30, 2022
Retail: $150
Resell pre-release: $220 (Tokyo), $150 – $250 (NYC)

Air Jordan 1 “Stash”

Pockets are still all the rage these days. Jordan Brand has decided to update the beloved AJ1 with a futuristic and utilitarian look that matches durable canvas with webbing pulls and a zipper pocket on the heel. These are great whether you want to stash first aid and snacks for a hike or your grinder and some dank bud for a walk around the block. Hit up SNKRS app to cop.

Release Date: May 3, 2022
Retail: $175
Resell pre-release: $460 – $470
