Last week’s Hot Cakes are in the rearview, did you manage to score any pairs you wanted? If not, don’t worry, the blazing speed at which the sneaker game moves means that there’s a handful of new releases this weekend for you to look forward to. Headlined by a highly anticipated collaborative reunion and an assortment of fresh takes on classics, let’s jump right into it.
Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low
I went into detail earlier this week on the return of the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low that’s arriving this week in four colorways exclusively at the hype machine. It doesn’t matter if you’re an old head that appreciates the mix of heritage or a new reseller trying to make some monster profits, this one will be extremely difficult to acquire. Managing to bring together all four variations into one’s collection will be a 2021 feat to marvel at for any sneakerhead, so good luck. Supreme’s webstore is your only bet if you didn’t manage to snag an in-store slot yesterday.

Nike Dunk Low “City Market”
Let’s face it, the Dunk phenomenon is being milked by Nike for all it’s worth, and I’m not mad. Another stellar new take on the classic low-top sneaker drops this week in the form of the “City Market” variation. This time around Nike is celebrating durable materials and its Blue Ribbon Sports heritage. Extremely colorful and drawing from inspiration like coffee bags and industrial rice bags – upcycled urban market material – the clear Swoosh, secret zipper stash on the tongue and “Thank You For Caring!” packaging make this a unique pair worth adding if you can hit on raffles from retailers like Feature and on SNKRS app.
Release Date: March 4, 2021 (Thursday)
Retail: $110
Resell pre-release: $470 – $1,310
Casablanca x New Balance 327 & 237 “White/Grey”
Helping spur New Balance’s popularity last year was the all-new 327 and retailer Casablanca. Now the European retailer and NB are returning with an all-new take on both the 327 and 237 silhouettes. The latest release features perforated white leather along the upper while a green and pink overlay pattern is utilized across the edges of the sneaker. These are works of art for your feet as you dream of the days when a European retreat is once again possible. Head over to retailers like Feature now to enter their draw for both the 327 and 237.
Release Date: March 5, 2021 (Friday)
Retail: $130 (237), $150 (327)

CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death”
CLOT and Nike first released their “Kiss of Death” Air Max 1 silhouette back in 2006. Always bridging Chinese culture with sneaker culture, Edison Chen and Kevin Poon’s brand infused Qi-inspired qualities into this pair in the acupuncture pressure points seen underneath the icy outsole, minimal sockliner, translucent toe box as well as red and orange detailing. Released last week through JUICE in Asia, these will start making their way to retailers like END. this week so enter the raffle and pray.
Release Date: March 6, 2021 (Saturday)
Retail: $170
Resell pre-release: $380 – $700
Air Jordan 1 “University Blue”
Anytime University Blue hits a pair of Jordans, I’m a huge fan. Since March Madness is around the corner and won’t feel the same due to the pandemic, the UNC reference is rather welcomed. Choosing the black and white contrast points on the AJ1 perfectly – like the black Wings logo and collar panel – these bring out the energy and pay homage to MJ in the perfect manner. Expect real basketball and Jordan fans to flock towards this pair on SNKRS app and retailers this weekend.
Release Date: March 6, 2021 (Saturday)
Retail: $170
Resell pre-release: $420 – $850
Nike Dunk High “Barely Green”
Every year, Nike celebrates the NBA’s All-Star Weekend with a capsule of commemorative sneakers – usually signature sneakers worn by their athletes. This year, the Dunk High – rich in basketball history itself – will honor the ASG that was supposed to take place in Indianapolis but has been moved to Atlanta due to COVID-19. The hologram on the heel still pays homage to the original location it was supposed to be played while the black patent leather is treated to look like hardwood. SNKRS app and select retailers will have this special pair up for grabs.
Release Date: March 9, 2021 (Tuesday)

Resell pre-release: $195 – $400
