While this week’s sneaker releases feature more Olympic collaborations, the extremely hyped Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 is without a doubt the pair everyone wants to get their hands on. Additionally, there have been rumors of the annual YEEZY Day restock happening something this weekend or even on August 2. So with all that in mind, let’s jump right into it.

UNDERCOVER x Nike Dunk High 1985 “Gym Red”

Jun Takahashi created a fictional basketball league, the “UNDERCOVER Basketball Association” to celebrate the Olympics in his home country of Japan. He takes the original 1985 silhouette of the Dunk High as his canvas. A classic red and black colorway is executed in black leather with pebble embossed nubuck – truly a timeless material construction. These come with a matching apparel collection and you can hit up SNKRS app to cop.

Release Date: July 28, 2021 (Today)
Retail: $150
Resell pre-release: $205 – $305

Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 “Sail/Black/Military Blue”

This is the most hyped release of the year period. Anything that La Flame touches in footwear and collaborations at this point turns into gold and is instantly resell worthy. These Air Jordan 1 Highs are no different. Aside from the fact that these are AJ1s (which are always in high demand), they feature premium leather and are based off a sample 1985 “Reverse Royal” colorway. You can see elements from Travis’ first AJ1 collaboration – i.e. the huge reverse Swoosh – as well as the color palette from the original fragment design release back in 2014. These also have a hidden stash pocket on the tongue for all your raging activities. Currently, raffles are closing quick in the EU region. You can still enter via END., BSTN (Europe only) and Wish (Georgia only). The rest of us have to pray for a release.

Release Date: July 29, 2021
Retail: $200
Resell pre-release: $2,200 – $3,000

Drew League x Nike Air Force 1 “Multicolor”

The annual summer basketball camp in the LA area that celebrate the game is returning with another colorway of the AF1 this year. This time around, the colors on the Swoosh pay homage to South Central – a community that produces great ballers, artists and creatives even amongst the unforgiving conditions, poverty, gang violence, social and political uprisings and more. You can cop these on SNKRS app.

Release Date: July 30, 2021
Retail: $110
Resell pre-release: $220 – $330

AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High “Flash Lime”

Another Olympic sneaker, we already know the design brief and inspiration behind this pair is Japanese automotive culture. Arriving with neon apparel pieces, this silhouette and colorway will get you spotted on any road. The volt highlighter trend has been going for a while now so let’s see how long that will last. If you like loud sneakers, it doesn’t get better than this. Hit up SNKRS, the plug.

Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Abstract Art”

If you watched the premiere of skateboarding at the Olympics, you would’ve seen these in action along with the dope apparel collection. Using his abstract shapes and bright color palette, the artist Parra was able to create a dope tearaway SB that is two versions of art on one canvas. There’s also the inclusion of the mini Swoosh on the toe and vibrant insole details. This is a must-have. Hit up SNKRS app and select retailers this weekend to cop.
