Once that 420 buzz wears off, get ready for a weekend filled with chances to come up on flips and fire personal pairs to chase after. The game isn’t fair and Nike’s draw system doesn’t actually help, but what can you do when you’re this addicted to kicks? Let’s jump right into it.
Nike SB Dunk High Pro “Hawaii”
I’m a huge fan of tearaway materials on sneakers, especially a pair that’s meant to withstand the harsh punishment of skating. Inspired by the island of Hawaii – where I wish I was right now – these blue and pink floral high-tops reveal a more oceanside motif underneath. There’s also a hidden pocket in the tongue – a feature that’s becoming more and more popular lately. If you aren’t feeling the island vibes, flip these for a great profit. SNKRS app will once again be causing headaches for all of us on these.

Retail: $120
Resell pre-release: $570 – $1,295
Brain Dead x Reebok Zig Kinetica II “Natural White/Grey”
Art and design collective Brain Dead has teamed up with Reebok to create a sneaker that’s heavily inspired by Japanese Kaiju vinyl toys. If you’re familiar with movies like Godzilla or Pacific Rim, you’ll know that Kaijus are basically monsters. Using this specific silhouette allowed for the color to pop across the Floatride Fuel cushioning and Zig Energy Shell. Definitely a sneaker for the runners out there that want to be noticed, head over to reebok.com to cop.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “42”
After receiving the “Freshwater” retro back in February, the Air Griffey Max 1 will bless us with a colorway in honor of Jackie Robinson Day. The black and white composition pays homage to Robinson for breaking through the color barrier in the sport of baseball and his lasting legacy. Instead of Griffey’s “24” on the Velcro strap, Jackie’s “42” will be featured. These are definitely for any and everyone that respects the game. SNKRS app is the plug.

adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 “Bright Blue”
The popular 700 silhouette from adidas and Kanye will receive a vibrant new variation this week in the form of the “Bright Blue” colorway. With the Knicks playing well and the Mets spending money under super fan-owner Steven Cohen, this blue/orange combination is sure to go over well with New York natives. The orange BOOST unit and blending of black and blue on the upper is perfectly complemented with the white laces. Check out the adidas Confirmed app or yeezysupply.com to cop.

Air Jordan 11 Low “Legend Blue”
A pair that celebrates the 25th anniversary of the silhouette, the icy outsole on these paired with the crisp white patent leather upper will have fans drooling for years to come. Aside from the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 3, the Air Jordan 11 is in the top three all-time favorites for a lot of people and a clean white colorway for summer is just what all of us sneakerheads ordered. SNKRS app as well as local retailers will carry these gems this weekend.

Nike Space Hippie 03 “Healing Jade”
This is pretty close to what I imagine a moon boot would look like. The Crater Foam midsole combines Nike Grind materials that contribute to the shoe’s 45% recycled material by weight specifications. I love the FastFit tightening system on this pair that’s made of surplus plastic and the sock-like build at the entry point. The bright jade green and neon yellow also blends well with the grey and blue for me. SNKRS app is once again the plug on these if you’re feeling eco-friendly.
