SQUIRE: what happens in Vegas…

Last weekend, The Squire team headed down to the City of Sin for one of our best trade shows yet. Between the 70 degree weather and cool breezes, we lucked out with some of the best Vegas weather after a super hot summer. Our team unloaded in a dope Airbnb located in a retro neighborhood just past the strip. The spot had beautiful stained glass windows, hand-crafted woodwork, six massive bedrooms with unlimited space, and a killer backyard which we got to enjoy each and every day throughout the weekend.

Saturday was the perfect day for a kick back and a pool party. We loaded up and bought blow up flamingos for the pool. A hammock, gazebo, firepit, and a  DJ playing the best 90s and hip hop music all night entertained our people. We even had our own personal masseuse hooking everyone up with massages. The best part of the night was partying in true Vegas fashion with an open bar. Drinks were flowing and we catered Hawaiian barbeque in a buffet style for everyone to enjoy. The vibe was right and definitely set the scene for the next day at  the LV barber show.

From there, things only got better for our big day at the South Point Casino. We headed over to set up at around 12:30 PM to prepare for the doors opening at 2:30 PM. This Casino was located at the edge of the Vegas strip with more of a vintage touch. It definitely had an older feel to it, but Team Squire made sure it stayed lit.

As part of our second activation with Team 12 Pell, we worked with the boys inside our 20×20 space and set them up with a 4×6 carnival tent. Karho and his crew used a bunch of fishbowls, stuffed them up with paper, and taped them together to create a makeshift carnival game to win products from the hottest brands. Wanna Play? Cop a token, and start throwing. The tent was full of hype. 12Pell had Anti Social Club shirts, Supreme, Travis Scott shoes in there and even raffled off a pair cement J’s. All you had to do was buy your $1 raffle ticket for a chance to win the collectable pair of kicks. Even from a distance, it was clear some of the sought after sneakers were hanging down from our tent. SQUIRE also hosted an open bar for its invited guests, so the drinks were flowing and served up by our mixologist, Brianna.

The booth was in full effect with our top notch barbers and avid users of the SQUIRE platform all while chillin, cutting, and doing meet and greets from the likes of Julius Caesar to Pope the Barber. We had people coming up to us left and right trying to learn about Squire and talk to their favorite barbers. That being said, the entire event felt more like a kickback rather than work. All of the barbers were mingling and super relaxed while sipping on cocktails. It was all good vibes to see everyone on team SQUIRE, and our ambassadors having a Good TIME.

Towards the end of the day the raffle ticket sales went nuts in hopes of winning a pair of Jordans with a resale market price of around $400. Some people were so dedicated that they wanted to give in a hundred tokens just for a chance to win. To end the day on the right note—one lucky winner walked away rocking these classic cement J’s.

Like Ocean’s 11, SQUIRE’S talent was like no other with the best of the best barbers in the game. With a cast consisting from Champs, Marcus Harvey, Pope the Barber, Julius Caesar, Famos, Corey Duval, Justin Carr, Sosa, Anthony Ginotti, Leche, and Elliot Chester, we definitely took the best sins out of sin city.
