Fire Finds: Sullivan Street Bakery x FLAN Lab Cookie Scarf

If you’ve experienced a New York winter, or any Northeast regional winter, you’ll know that a scarf will save your life. I’m extremely picky with my own scarves because I need variety, a little something extra for those turn up nights; another one that’s cashmere for extreme warmth; and something thin too for the not-so-cold days and nights just to protect my neck from gusty winds. But when I saw this collaborative scarf from legendary NYC bakery Sullivan Street Bakery and FLAN Lab, something wild inside me knew I had to have it. This week’s Fire Finds won’t just keep you warm, it’ll also make you hungry – in a good way.

For those that haven’t heard of FLAN Lab, they’re a local Brooklyn brand that brings flavor and humor into the clothing they create – almost always revolving around, you guessed it, flan. They’ve previously worked with NYC ice cream parlor Oddfellows on a Flanfellows flavor and with the provocative Japanese brand Fxxking Rabbits (FR2) on a fun clothing capsule collection that included a flan graphic tee, and Flan Rabbits tee and socks. For this drop, they’ve teamed with Sullivan Street Bakery for not only a two-piece clothing collection, but a special cookie flavor. My pick for this week is the amazing cookie scarf, because I f*cking love cookies, especially a good triple chocolate flavored one. The cookie, dubbed COLPA DEGNO, which roughly translates to “worthy of guilt,” will be available at all Sullivan Street Bakery locations for $3 for the week. In addition to the scarf, a tee that has the fun caption of “Don’t Loaf Around” will also be available.

This is the perfect way to treat yourself in a year that will go down in history. Both the tee ($50) and scarf ($70) will be available via flanlabs.com on December 15. In the meantime, go get yourself a cookie or two, you definitely earned it this year.
