Top 10 must-cop items from Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection

Supreme teamed up with Katt Williams for a serious PSA on the state of the country and world to tease its Fall/Winter 2020 collection. Talking about police brutality, the state of politics and COVID-19, the short presentation by the comedian was heartfelt and delivered in a Supreme Box Logo tee and suit.

This season’s collection once again brings back collaborative favorites like Hanes essentials and the Supreme x Nike Air Force 1 in black and white iterations. You can check out the full lookbook online now along with every single piece that will release. We’ve gone ahead and picked out our top 10 must-have items to make it easier on you. Supreme will release the items on August 20 in-store and online. Japanese locations will receive the goods on August 22. Let’s jump into the items.

Reversible Colorblocked Fleece Jacket

This piece instantly stood out to me because it reminded me of Dutch painter Piet Mondrian’s famous style. Made of sherpa fleece and GORE WINDSTOPPER technology, this reversible piece is the perfect outerwear joint to have for the colder months and flexible enough to wear with multiple outfits. We’re calling it now, these will definitely be paired with the Nike SB “Piet Mondrian” Dunk Lows (which have already shot up in price since the lookbook dropped) once released for fit checks.

Aerial Tapestry Harrington Jacket

The thing I love about ‘Preme is that no matter how much they expand, they always show love to New York City every season in some form of iconic imagery. For FW20, it’s the Empire State Building in an aerial shot on a classic harrington jacket. Its style also reminds me of the “Day” version of the Supreme x The North Face Summit Jacket from 2008.

Cross Box Logo Hoodie

Honestly at this point, it’s not a stretch to say that Supreme is pretty much a religion for some people. The Box Logo is the most recognizable piece from the shop and this season they’ve remixed it into a cross. This hoodie will come in some of the colors you’d expect from a regular Box Logo drop like grey with red, black on black and red on red but also a yellow version.

Supreme x Toshio Saeki Work Pant

Legendary Japanese painter Toshio Saeki passed away at the end of last year. For this season, Supreme has incorporated some of his original artwork onto a matching set of work jackets and work pants. As an erotic artist and illustrator, Saeki broke the boundaries with his creations and the patchwork depicts a life-long story. He is credited by some as being the “Godfather of Japanese Erotic.”

Pharaoh Sanders Tee

Supreme has always honored the arts with portrait-style tees each season and musicians/rappers/singers have always been selected for their unique contributions. Grammy Award-winning saxophonist Pharaoh Sanders is a living legend. Along with fellow saxophonist John Coltrane, they pioneered and mastered the “sheets of sound” technique that is widely used in jazz music today for improvisation. A portrait of Sanders adorns the front of the tee while ‘Karma,’ his 1969 album cover title, spans the back.

Logo Stripe Jacquard Denim Crusher

I was a huge fan of the Supreme x Vans Sk8-Hi “Hole Punch Denim Blue” from the SS20 collection. The way the denim hit while it was pre-distressed just gave me chills. So I’m huge on the denim crusher headwear for this season that’s a perfect match for those shoes. On top of that, bucket hats are making a comeback and I’m with it.

Supreme x Jacob & Co. 14K Gold Lock Pendant

Jacob & Co. is a huge name in the jewelry industry, especially among celebrities and athletes. Known for their watches in particular, their level of craftsmanship is hard to compete with. So this 14K necklace collaboration is a must-have accessory for any fan, collector or even as a gift for your significant other. Just come ready with the bread, this definitely won’t be cheap.

Supreme x Mortal Kombat Arcade Game

This is potentially the biggest Supreme collaboration flex of all-time in terms of accessories (I didn’t forget about Louis Vuitton, calm down). In terms of fighting games, Mortal Kombat II was and is probably still a top 5 all-time game. Add to that Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, a Supreme riser, a illuminated logo headboard and custom graphics, you have a clear winning recipe.

Supreme x Shure SM58 Vocal Microphone

It doesn’t matter if you’re at home, in the shop, at the studio or in your whip, when the beat drops to a fire song, we know you’re singing along or lacing your own remix. This Shure collaboration is for the inner musician in all of us. With a 50 to 15,000 Hz frequency response, this cordless mic is perfect for any occasion, anywhere with anyone (as long the masks stay on, sorry Future).

Supreme x Bicycle Clear Playing Cards

Nothing says I’m taking your money today like some custom playing cards. Doesn’t matter if it’s Poker, Blackjack, Spades, Go Fish, or any other card game, if you’re holding a dealt hand, you know what’s at stake and how competitive the table will get. These clear cards with just the right balance of black and red are the ultimate card game flex.
