Back in spring, Supreme and The North Face gave us a bright and colorful Trekking collection. Now that the weather has turned, the duo have once again joined forces for an extensive collection that will not only have wearers completely flossing on the streets, but also safe kept safe and warm.
For Fall 2022, Supreme has chosen select Steep Tech collection pieces to rework. The Steep Tech Apogee Jacket, known as the “Moto” to OG fans of TNF, is instantly recognizable with its Kevlar spinal section and elbow pads. A matching pair of Steep Tech Pants will also be offered. Additional Steep Tech pieces include a Steep Tech Pullover, Steep Tech Fleece Pant, Steep Tech Gloves, Steep Tech Backpack and Steep Tech Waist Bag.
Expanding the collection more than normal, this week’s offerings also include a 700-Fill Down Parka, Base Layer long-sleeve top, Base Layer pant and woven keychain.
As I’ve previously mentioned, the highlight is clearly the Moto jacket and pants combination. With water resistant nylon and riveted seams, you will look like a badass motorcycle gang member even if that’s not the vibe you’re going for. Polar fleece line the Steep Tech pullover and pants, all of which come with plenty of pockets. The pullover has a mask built-in too because the pandemic isn’t going away fully anytime soon it seems.
If you’re looking for a full-blown winter jacket, the 700-Fill Down Parka features water resistant poly with 700-Fill down insulated quilted baffles. Each of the Base Layer pieces are made with poly elastane to ensure a snug fit. Seemingly a given, the Steep Tech Backpack and Waist Bag are feature water resistant poly and ballistic nylon.
For this collection, Supreme has decided to go with an all black palette as well as brown, and a multicolor format. The graphic used evokes Asian imagery of birds in flight. If you’re looking for something loud, you’ll want the multicolor piece for sure.
How to cop

In related news, the Supreme x Nike ACG Fall 2022 collection also featured a pullover with a mask, is this the trend of the season?
