Reflective workwear anyone?

Supreme and Timberland’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection is arriving this week. Now that both brands live under VF Corp., the constant seasonal collaborations should be no surprise to anyone.

Spring/Summer 2021

This season’s SS21 collaboration takes the focus away from footwear – which was the focus of the Fall/Winter 2020 6″ Boot collab – and places an emphasis on apparel, specifically workwear. Four Reflective Taping Anorak jackets will release in some famous sports team colorways: Black/Red, Orange/Blue, Purple/Yellow and Cream/Black. Reflective Taping Track Pants to match the jackets will also be releasing. The 3M tape definitely reminds me of the uniforms that city employees wear on their gear and provides functionality to the pieces.

The half-zip jackets feature a drawstring on the hood and waist so you can adjust your look. A kangaroo style pocket on the front complements the reflective taping on the shoulders. Velcro on the wrists are adjustable. The waist for the matching pants also feature a drawstring.

To complement the pieces above, a Double Knee Painter Pant in Black, Pink, Blue and White as well as four Crewneck sweaters in Black/Black, Red/Black, Black/Green and Cream/Orange will be available. The crewneck sweaters are styled in a ’90s vibe with stripes on the collars.

No Supreme release is complete without accessories, so matching Camp Caps and Beanies will also drop. The adjustable Camp Caps feature a netting along the sides which can act as additional storage compartments.

All of the items above feature a collaborative brand logo from Timberland and Supreme. The logo is Timberland’s tree graphic alongside Supreme lettering both in a horizontal and vertical format.

How to cop

Like all Supreme releases, the American and European release date will occur on a Thursday, this time it’s May 13. You can also try your luck on Supreme’s website on Thursday. Japanese fans will need to wait an extra two days, as usual, for the release to occur on May 15 at all chapter stores.

Milan store opening

In addition to stores located in London and Paris for the European crowd, Supreme opened its Milan outpost last week on May 6. The new store is located at Corso Garibaldi, 20, 20121 Milan MI, Italy. You can see images from the new location below. The corner location features all the typical makings of a ‘Preme location including clean white walls, large stereos, sculptures, pipe racks, a glass display for accessories situated by the cashier, headwear and accessory shelves and wall mounted skate decks.
