Travis Scott is the modern day partnership king. Fresh off a candle and scent with BYREDO, the Houston rapper mogul has McDonald’s, Dior, Sony PlayStation and Fornite partnerships from this year alone. Now, he’s teamed up with Anheuser-Busch for his own hard seltzer line, CACTI.
Playing off his Cactus Jack persona and record label name, the CACTI drink is inspired by LaFlame’s love of tequila and therefore features agave along with three launch flavors of Lime, Pineapple and Strawberry. The blue agave is imported from Mexico and the beverage will be brewed in Los Angeles with a 7% ABV. Hitting shelves in the spring of 2021, the drinks will be sold in 12 oz. cans in a 9-can Variety Pack as well as 16 oz. and 25 oz. single serving cans for the Lime and Pineapple flavors.
Scott has this to say about his new venture:
“CACTI is something I’m really proud of and have put a ton of work into. Me and the team really went in, not only on getting the flavor right, but on thousands of creative protos on everything from the actual beverage, to the can concept, to the packaging and how it is presented to the world. We always try to convey a feeling in our products. I’m a big fan of tequila so I came at it from that angle, too. I’m really excited to put this out in 2021 and see other people be able to enjoy it.”
