Travis Scott has officially ventured into the self-care industry with a collaboration alongside BYREDO. The Cactus Jack founder has had plenty of heavy-hitting collaborations in 2020, which included a McDonald’s Meal and merch line, Fortnite livestream concert and PlayStation 5 event and limited Nike sneaker raffle. And don’t forget he dropped his own COVID-19 health supplies during the height of the pandemic as well.
BYREDO, a Swedish fragrance and accessories company tapped the Houston native for a cologne and candle that sold out instantly earlier this week. The entire campaign centered around the energy Travis is known to bring to his concerts and everything he does – a straight up rage mentality. “TRAVX SPACE RAGE” is the name of the line and the 3.4 oz scent was marketed with the phrase “WONDER WHAT SPACE SMELLS LIKE?” while the 230g candle featured “RAGE AGAINST THE DYING OF THE LIGHT.” In their Instagram post, BYREDO gave us an idea of what to expect from this extraterrestrial package – cosmic dust, antimatter particles for the top notes, starlight and the scent of a supernova for the middle and an atmospheric vapor and dark nebulae base – whatever that means.
