Hearing that Golf Wang, Tyler, the Creator’s label is bringing back colorful polka dots will not surprise anyone. After all, the exquisitely off-center label never turned away from funky patterns, outrageously cool and flashy colors, or bold prints. After bringing his colorful brand of fashion to his partnership with Converse, creating the candy colored sneakers, the rapper and designer’s label is now teaming up with Levi’s for a limited-edition capsule collection that is sure to be as fresh and unique as we can imagine.
Every year, Levi’s celebrates its most iconic pair of jeans — the 501. This year, the American denim company chose to team up with Golf Wang for a new capsule collection, choosing the brand for its signature flashy and funky looks. The garments boast GOLF’s signature rainbow polka-dot print—created for his 2016 Golf Wang runway show. The treatment has been applied to the jeans as well as a vintage Trucker jacket, both of which come covered in a rainbow polka dots and a special edition co-branded back patch.

Tyler, the Creator has a reputation of making clothes and sneakers, though his designs are loud and colorful, they always feel super wearable. After all, he himself sports bright yellow sweaters, or pink polos with flower-printed pants — so it comes as no surprise to see his new creation be a pair of rainbow dotted jeans.
We know that polka dot denim may not be for everyone, but it sure is a way to add some funky flair to any drabby springtime wardrobe.
