Union Los Angeles and Jordan Brand collaborated at the tail end of 2018 on two versions of the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette. Paying homage to original 1985 colorways, Chris Gibbs and company masterfully gave us the “Black Toe” and “Blue Toe” iterations which drew from vintage culture in addition to the DNA of the AJ1.
Now, the duo are back at it. This time around, the chosen model is the Air Jordan 4. GOAT and DJ Clark Kent have both given us a preview of the upcoming sneaker via Instagram. Taking after the Union x AJ1 “Blue Toe,” the latest AJ4 collab features a black suede and mesh upper combined with translucent paneling to the top eyelet, white netting, off-white/cream outsole and tongue and a blue sock quarter. “Nike Air” appears on the heel tab in red and it looks like another special edition box will come with the sneakers too. It’s pretty safe to assume that there will be another pair in the duo just like last time along with an apparel collection. Stay tuned for more info as it comes out.
Just like with the first collaboration, these are already garnering a lot of hate. Just wait until they release and resell turns into 10x what you paid retail.
